Prestbury Club 0

Brewers continued their assault on the title with an 8-0 demolition of Prestbury Club at Bollington Recreation Ground. Prestbury Club secretary Rod Price had absolutely no excuses and was full of praise for Brewers . ‘It was the strongest side I’ve put out all season …they beat us fair and square’ Four goals in each half proved Brewers ambition as whilst leading 4-0 at the break and the points in the bag they never eased off and scored four more in the second half. Tormentor in chief was Jake McGarry who has been the scurge of many defences this season with his electric pace. He scored four times , skipper Danny Bailey put in a captains ‘ performance with two and Martin Firth and Matt Woolley scored one apiece . Woolley firing home a stunning free kick.
