Macc Boys Seniors began their campaign with an impressive away victory at Bollington Recreation Ground against Brewers despite trailing to an early Sam Dicken strike from the edge of the penalty area. All square at half time the Seniors had the better of the second period scoring twice, once from the penalty spot, Brewers keeper Dominic Chell being lucky to escape with only a caution. The visitors rode their luck however the home side had three efforts cleared off the line but Macc Boys held on take the points and left Brewers frustrated and manager Damien Druce with plenty to think about.
